MONDAY 5TH
YOU ARE NOT HELPLESS
John 14:18, “I will not leave you comfortless (helpless): I will come to you.”
Today’s devotional is designed by God to bring you into a consciousness of God’s provision for your victory. Never allow the transient situation of life to becloud your judgment and force you to think that you are helpless. It would be an insult to God’s face for you to entertain thoughts of helplessness in your heart. To think this way would mean that you are saying God is an irresponsible Father. But glory to God, that is not true, our God is a dependable Father; He has promised that He would not leave you comfortless, helpless or stranded. When He was making that promise, He was talking about the Holy Ghost. Dear friend, you can begin to rejoice, the help you require is within you.
The good news even gets better, in Hebrews 1:14, the Bible says, “Are they (angels) not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?” Even before you got born again, God made arrangements for you to be helped; all angels are on attention waiting for your command to help you. Start your day with confidence in spite of big challenges you may be facing. With the Holy Spirit within you and angels all around, you have more than enough help to get the job done! GO AHEAD AND WIN!
FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 46:1-2, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS I AM HELPED OF THE LORD AT ALL TIMES; I’VE GOT THE HOLY SPIRIT. I HAVE ACCESS TO ANGELIC ASSISTANCE!
ACTION POINT: When faced with challenges, pray in the Spirit and give commands to your angels.
ONE YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 12; Mark 3; Luke 6
