SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER

SUNDAY 8TH

EMBRACE A CONTNOUS GIVING LFESTYLE

Ecclesiastes 11:6, “In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know  which will prosper  either in this or that, or whether both  alike will be good.”

Many people erroneously think that when they give, it reduces them, so they choose to embrace stinginess. Such people are wrong. This is a faulty belief system designed to keep people in the bondage of lack and want.
In the words of Dr. Mike Murdock, “the seed you sow does not leave your life forever, it goes away to attract more, especially when you need it the most.” In order for you to position yourself to be above only at all points in time, you must break the vicious cycle of poverty by attracting your harvest through giving. Selfishness and stinginess doesn’t increase a person, instead, it drains wealth. God is not a wicked nor blind God, He does not expect you to give what you don’t have, but out of what you have, make it a habit to always set aside a seed! There is a just grace for given which you must convert earnestly! 2 Corinthians 8:1-2, “…we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia: that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.” No one is ever too poor to give!
Proverbs 11:24 (NIV) puts this truth beautifully, it says, “One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.” A giving lifestyle is the springboard into a life of gain and profit. Think about this: every seed planted will produce harvest after a particular period of time. I think that it is wisdom for us to make it a daily habit to sow seeds so that we can also come into a period of daily harvests. Periodic giving without doubt leads to periodic receiving. Make up your mind today to be in the company of the successful through the secret of giving. Giving is a dependable principle and nothing can stop it from producing in your life if you embrace it joyfully! START TODAY!

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 11:1, “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.”

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS I AM A GIVER, A HEART OF GREED AND SELFISHNESS IS NOT IN MY DNA. THROUGH MY SEEDS, I ACTIVATE A RAIN OF UNENDING PROSPERITY IN MY LIFE.

ACTION POINT: Locate someone in need and give something useful today.

ONE YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 27; Mark 15
